Rosi Rosell
Rosi Rosell is the Publisher and Editor-in-Chief of Calle Ocho News, deeply rooted in Miami’s Hispanic media legacy. The daughter of Marta Rosa Rosell, President and CEO of Pressnet Corporation, and the late Luis Thomas Pardo, co-founder of Calle Ocho News, Rosi carries forward a family mission that began in 1998: giving voice to Miami’s diverse Hispanic communities. A graduate of Florida International University with a double major in International Business and Management, she left the mortgage industry to pursue her passion for storytelling and community impact. Since stepping into her editorial role in 2015, Rosi has transformed Calle Ocho News into a dynamic print, digital, and event-driven platform that celebrates Miami’s art, culture, and people while keeping freedom of speech alive.
