Football

The football team of Miami, the Miami Dolphins, has an eminent history. They have won Super Bowl titles and they have been graced by Hall of Famers like the great quarterback Dan Marino and coach Don Shula. The Miami Dolphins are also the only team in the history of the National Football League (NFL) to pull off a “perfect” season.

The Miami Marlins are two-time World-Series champions. They have represented Miami in the Major League Baseball since 1993 and have given fans some exciting memories to cherish over the years. The Miami Marlins play their home games at the Marlin Park that is situated in Little Havana. The stadium has a state-of-the-art roof that is retractable.

Apart from the primary sports scene – Miami also offers nail-biting Division I college sports that can keep anyone entertained. The FIU Panthers and The University of Miami Hurricanes both have several Division-I teams that fans can watch.

They have also won several national championships and are loved by Miamians. If you go to a home match at Hard Rock Stadium, you can chant “The U.”

The Panthers is a popular team in Miami, too, which plays its home games in the Riccardo Silva Stadium. This stadium has the capacity to fit 20,000 people, and it is on the University’s campus. Both college and school basketball games are played through the winter season.
