Runners offered their support in the fight against breast cancer by participating in MIA Runway 5K

On Sunday, October 29 at 6 a.m, over 2,000 runners participated in a race on a runway at Miami International airport for the MIA Runway 5K Flight 2022. This event was organized to fight breast cancer and support Making Strides Against Breast Cancer (MSABC).

Here's all you need to know about the event.

About MIA Runway 5K

The event follows suit after the first Runway 5K at Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport (OPF) and the first MIA race in October 2020.

The Making Strides Against Breast Cancer (MSABC) initiative of the American Cancer Society will receive 100% of the event's revenues. And the 5K series at MIA and OPF 2022 is expected to raise more than $30,000.
