The new Brightline train stations reduce travel time for Floridians
Have you ever tried getting around Florida without a car? It’s not easy. However, now there is a new train route connecting five major Florida cities. These new Brightline train stations will make traveling to Miami and the rest of Florida much quicker and easier.
Brightline currently serves the major metropolis of Florida: Fort Lauderdale, Miami, and West Palm Beach. Residents and visitors to Florida have eagerly anticipated the service's growth since its inauguration in 2018. Here's more on this exciting new development.
About the new stations
Brightline is a fast, efficient, environmentally friendly train line that connects West Palm Beach, Central Miami, and Fort Lauderdale. The company celebrated the opening of its newest stations in Boca Raton and Aventura with ribbon-cutting ceremonies.
Both stations started their operations on December 21. To get your hands on tickets for both the new and old routes on GoBrightline.com. This is a huge time-saving option for Floridians who want to travel between cities without spending hours stuck in traffic on I-95. It is also a welcome route for visitors to Miami who want to explore more of South Florida.
What the future holds for Brightline
The long-anticipated expansion to Orlando, scheduled for 2023, is what people all over South Florida are most excited about. The addition of the two additional trains in July boosted the railroad's progress toward its goal.
Until then, the new stations will only operate during the morning and evening rush hours of the week to accommodate commuters. The train service will operate in both directions (north to south) around once every alternate hour. West Palm Beach, Central Miami, and Fort Lauderdale will maintain regular service schedules.
