The Miami Heat surrendered 138 points to the Bucks in Game 2, a postseason record
The Miami Heat almost set the stage for unbeatable victory by taking Game 1 and the series lead from the top-ranking Milwaukee Bucks. The Bucks, though, came around in Game 2, sending a thunderous message of their own.
On Wednesday, the Milwaukee Bucks won Game 2 in the initial round playoffs against the Miami Heat by a score of 138-122 to settle the series.

The Bucks ruled the game despite missing Antetokounmpo
The Bucks dominated the whole of Game 2, building a 32-point lead before halftime (ending the first half up 81-55). The Bucks routed the Heat 138-122 despite the absence of star forward Giannis Antetokounmpo, who was sidelined due to a lower back injury after Game 1.
The Bucks were led by center Brook Lopex and point guard Jrue Holiday in the absence of Antetokounmpo. Lopez scored 25 points, while Holiday added 24 points, 5 boards, and 8 dimes in just 29 minutes of action. After this victory, the Bucks tied the first-round series in the Eastern Conference 1-1.
Heat scores big yet still falls short
In the opening two minutes of play, the Heat built a three-point advantage that would prove to be their best of the night. The Bucks scored 138 points in Game 2, the highest points ever surrendered by the Heat in a postseason game.
Jimmy Butler, a standout for the Heat, had 25 points on 8 of 12 from the field, 2 of 4 from deep, and 7 of 10 from the free throw line in 28 minutes before getting pulled from the blowout defeat with 2 minutes and 33 seconds left during the third quarter. Bam Adebayo, another top player for the team, played 25 minutes and scored 18 points on 9 of 16 shooting and 0 of 1 from the free throw line.
