These students will be able to attend the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Miami this May
This effort was a collaboration between the South Florida Motorsports (SFM), Miami Dolphins, and the City of Miami Gardens to send 50 deserving students currently enrolled in the F1 in Schools program. The program aims to introduce participants to design, project management, and other skills related to Formula 1®.
Miami Gardens’ Mayor, Rodney Harris was the one to present these tickets to the students, who were taken by surprise. They even got to interact and race cars (which they built themselves) with William T. Ribbs Jr., an F1 legend.
Formula 1 is coming to Miami for the first time ever this May, from the 6th to the 8th, with a fantastic event to mark the occasion. The Grand Prix will feature some of the most talented racecar drivers and F1 competitors from across the world. You can learn more about it here.
