These students will be able to attend the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Miami this May
The Miami Dolphins and the City of Miami Gardens are making fifty lucky kids very happy this year, by giving them tickets to the upcoming Formula 1 Grand Prix being held in Miami next month.
Why these students were selected
This effort was a collaboration between the South Florida Motorsports (SFM), Miami Dolphins, and the City of Miami Gardens to send 50 deserving students currently enrolled in the F1 in Schools program. The program aims to introduce participants to design, project management, and other skills related to Formula 1®.
Miami Gardens’ Mayor, Rodney Harris was the one to present these tickets to the students, who were taken by surprise. They even got to interact and race cars (which they built themselves) with William T. Ribbs Jr., an F1 legend.
