What is ARTSLAUNCH?

ARTSLAUNCH is a day of FREE activities on the Arsht Center’s campus!

The Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County (@arshtcenter) is pleased to announce event details for ARTSLAUNCH2017
(#ArtsLaunch2017), a FREE annual celebration to kick off South Florida’s arts season and celebrate the Center’s official box office opening, on September 9, 2017.

This is an opportunity for the community to spend a FULL day immersed in arts & culture, engage with more than 100 organizations and explore the Center’s performance spaces in the most unique and intimate ways imaginable!  Featured activities you won’t want to miss include The Longest International Conga Line with the most Nationalities, A Community Village on our Ziff Ballet Opera House stage with 120 Arts & Cultural Organizations, A Kids’ Silent Disco Party on the Plaza, Mixology Demonstrations, Chef Demonstrations, Food Truck Block Party, A Family Friendly Kid Zone, Workshops, Film Screenings, Author Conversations and a party on the plaza with live performances to end the evening.  

Created in partnership with the local arts community and DWNTWN Art Days, ARTSLAUNCH2017 includes performances, workshops, chef and mixology demos, kids activities, tours and much more. On that day, the public will also have the first opportunity to purchase tickets to more than 40 shows for the Arsht Center’s 12th season with NO TICKET FEES at the box office window.
