Health is a key concern as Miami Heat, and Boston Celtics players hope to get back on their feet before Game 7 playoffs
Health continues to be a major concern during the Eastern Conference Finals. As playoffs approach Game 7, star players of both Miami Heat and Boston Celtics are still dealing with injuries.
Miami Heat forces a game 7 despite continuous injuries during the playoffs
Miami Heat Player Injuries
After missing the first four games of the postseason because of injuries, Marcus Smarts’ return to the lineup against the Miami Heat in game 7 is up in the air. Robert Williams III, who had been struggling with a knee wound is also up in the air.
Heat guard Tyler Herro is forced to sit out yet another game due to an unhealed injury. Without Herro, Miami's shot-creation will suffer, especially with Kyle Lowry and Jimmy Butler also suffering injuries.
Boston Celtics Playoff Expectations
The Celtics will have their full roster present in Game 7 of the NBA after being shorthanded for the first 6 playoffs of this series.
Both Al Horford and Marcus Smart missed the first game, Derrick White sat out the second game, Rob Williams did not play for the third game, and Smart sat out the fourth game altogether.
The only thing left now is for Boston to decide how many minutes it will allow for players like Williams and Smart. It's safe to assume that both will start in their usual spots for the starting lineup.
