Miami Dolphins training camp exciting day highlights

Miami Dolphins training camp 2022 practice featured impressive quarterbacks and standout rookies

Miami Dolphins returned to practice on Thursday following their return for their first session of Miami Dolphins training camp in 2022. The second practice of the Miami Dolphins training camp was considerably longer when compared to the first session.

Newly-signed cornerback Tino Ellis made an incredible diving catch to intercept a deep throw from Skylar Thompson aimed for Trent Sherfield towards the end of the 11-on-11 practice. This is just one of many standout moments from Dolphins training camp day 2.

Practice day 2 saw many top performers give their all. While cornerback Trill Williams made the greatest play of practice on day 1 with a pick-six, he made another excellent play on a Teddy Bridgewater ball when he took his arm over Sherfield's shoulder. Williams had a great play when he got his arm over Sherfield's shoulder to intercept Teddy Bridgewater's throw, which was the highlight of Wednesday's practice.

Teddy Bridgewater's high pass was caught spectacularly by wide receiver Jaylen Waddle, who leapt above rookie CB Kader Kodu. During 7-on-7s, he took advantage of Tua Tagovailoa's crossing pattern for a big score and then made several catches for big yards himself. Waddle has gotten off to a great start in camp. On day 2, he donned the orange jersey, which is presented to a player who stood out during the previous Miami Dolphins training camp practice.

Quarterbacks to watch out for

Tagovailoa showed impressive accuracy once again, completing 12 of 15 passes without throwing an interception. However, he almost threw two interceptions, one to cornerback Nik Needham, who nearly brought it in, and the other to safety Brandon Jones, who had a decent opportunity to grab it.

Myles Gaskin, who is in the mix for a roster spot, made the most of his rushing opportunities. Sony Michel, his main rival for the No. 3 position, enjoyed a long reign. A long shot to make the team, Gerrid Doaks snatched a first down on a pass from Bridgewater.
