Hard Rock Stadium to host eight matches, including Inter Miami’s opening clash against Al Ahly on June 14
Miami is about to become the epicenter of global soccer, with the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 commencing at the iconic Hard Rock Stadium.
This year’s tournament will feature 32 elite clubs from around the world and promises a month-long celebration of the beautiful game.
Inter Miami’s historic debut
Inter Miami CF is representing the United States as the host nation’s club, and it will inaugurate the tournament with its debut against Egypt’s Al Ahly FC on June 14 at 8:00 PM ET.

Tournament format and stakes
The 2025 edition of the Club World Cup has been introduced with a revamped format. The 32 teams are divided into eight groups of four. The top two from each group will advance to the Round of 16.
From there, it’s a knockout format leading up to the final on July 13 at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.

Fans can also tune into matches on DAZN. The platform has secured global streaming rights. Moreover, TNT Sports will also broadcast 24 of the 63 matches, including key group stage and knockout games.
Lionel Messi’s dual commitments
With the preparations for the tournament in full swing, concerns over Lionel Messi’s availability have surfaced.
The Argentine captain is slated to participate in World Cup qualifiers for his national team against Chile on June 5 and Colombia on June 10.
