Calling all runners, walkers, and fiesta enthusiasts! Dust off your running shoes and get ready to celebrate Cinco de Mayo with a vibrant 5K, delicious food, and refreshing margaritas. Lime Fresh Mexican Grill, known for its fresh and flavorful Mexican cuisine, is hosting their 4th Annual Cinco de Mayo 5K on Saturday, May 4th, 2024, at Vista View Park in Davie, Florida.
This family-friendly event is much more than just a race; it's a full-blown Cinco de Mayo fiesta! Whether you're a seasoned runner or a casual walker, everyone is welcome to join the fun.
All participants will receive a race bib with a timing chip, a finisher's medal to commemorate their achievement, a festive event shirt, and a personalized race certificate. But the real party starts after you cross the finish line! Lime Fresh Mexican Grill will be serving up their famous food and drinks, including their signature margaritas and ice-cold beer, for all participants.

Registration fees and schedule
The earlier you register, the cheaper the price! Registration fees increase throughout the year, with race day costing $49.00. The first 500 registrants are guaranteed the full race participant package, so sign up early to secure yours!
There will be pre-race packet pickup opportunities at two Lime Fresh Mexican Grill locations to save you time on race day:
- Wednesday, May 1st: Dania Pointe location from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm
- Thursday, May 2nd: Plantation location from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Here's a quick rundown of the race day schedule:
6:15 am: Vista View Park gates open
6:45 am: Cinco de Mayo music begins
7:10 am: 5K Warmup
7:30 am: Cinco de Mayo 5K begins
8:00 am: Lime Fresh Mexican Grill food and drinks open (including margaritas!)
8:45 am: Cinco de Mayo 5K awards ceremony
9:00 am: Games and activities, including the famous Limbo Contest!
11:00 pm: Food and drinks close
