Kick up your cowboy boots for the 16th annual Miami-Dade Countryfest!

Miami-Dade Countryfest will be packed with even more exciting activities and shows than ever before.

March was filled with fun events in Miami, and April won’t be any different. The Greater Miami and Miami Beach area's annual celebration is back this year with a brand-new name and an expanded lineup of exciting new acts and delicious food trucks. The Miami-Dade Countryfest, originally the Miami International Agriculture, Horse & Cattle Show, will be coming to the Ronald Reagan Equestrian Center on April 15 and 16. This annual Miami-Dade Countryfest tradition began in 2015 and will return in 2023 with even more fun for the whole family.

Here is what you can expect at the 16th annual Miami-Dade Countryfest.

Cattle auction shows, rodeos, and more!

On Friday evening, the 16th annual Miami-Dade Country festivities begin with a high-profile cattle auction called the Magic City Brahman Genetics & Heifer Auction. Even if you aren't a registered buyer, you can still view the sale live online or sign up at the entrance on Friday afternoon.

The International Cattle Show and Rodeo, like every year, attracts not only locals and tourists but also livestock farmers from all over the world to show their western spirit and enjoy the festivities. Among the many attractions at this year's 16th annual Miami-Dade Country festival are a pro rodeo, a food truck rally, and a classic truck show.

Where to head for food and family fun

Children will have a great time at the Kids' Zone with its attractions and bouncing castles, as well as the Farmville petting zoo. The Food Truck Rally is available on both days and features a wide variety of cuisines, from burgers and loaded fries to seafood and vegetarian options. If you're thirsty, you should stop by the bar and enjoy a beer, cocktail, or other drink. For fresh vegetables and unique goods, head on over to the Farmers Market and Crafts Bazaar.

The Entertainment Stage will be jam-packed with local acts on both days. RSVP to the 16th annual Miami-Dade Countryfest in advance to get free entry and parking at the event.
