A Job in Miami Dade possible through the City?

The City of Miami's Opportunity Center is currently prepared to accept resumes from local residents that are or will be looking for employment so they can do a better job of connecting and finding a possible job in Miami Dade. These opportunities are made available by several industries at a time as the need arises.

Many think and rightfully so that the COVID-19 crisis has had such an impact on the economy that these opportunities do not exist but they do. Fortunately the City of Miami provides this resource opportunity to local residents.

Job-seeking residents are encouraged to submit their resumes to City of Miami's Opportunity Center at OpportunityCenterInfo@miamigov.com and to list their areas of professional experience/interest within the body of the e-mail message.

At the Opportunity Center their staff are in direct communication with local companies that are hiring for a possible job in Miami Dade and can work to open the lines of communication between job seekers and applicable job opportunities.

The City of Miami Opportunity Center previously had a hiring event scheduled for May 16th but given the current safer at home order filed by Mayor Carlos J. Gimenez they are accepting emails with resumes instead so the community will not miss out on opportunities that are already available.

It is nice to have a resource such as this made available by the City. This time we are all going through is full of uncertainty and people are worried about how they are going to pay their bills. How families will provide for themselves becomes a more important question to answer everyday for many.
