Vice Chairman Anthony Rodriguez hosted an eagerly anticipated event as he unveiled the Miami-Dade Police Department (MDPD) Mounted Patrol Unit’s newly refurbished stables. The grand reveal was scheduled for Wednesday, August 30, at 3:30 p.m., taking place at the prestigious Tropical Park Equestrian Center located at 7900 SW 40th St., Miami, FL 33155. Joining him for this significant occasion were representatives from Miami-Dade Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces (PROS), MDPD, Police Officer Assistance Trust (POAT), Mayor Daniella Levine Cava, and the generous Milton family.
Renewed spaces at Tropical Park Equestrian Center
Community members from all corners of the county were cordially invited to witness the transformation of the Mounted Patrol Unit’s stables and workspaces, now fully renovated, thanks to the gracious support of the Milton family. With a history of decades-long backing for MDPD, the Milton family partnered with Vice Chairman Rodriguez to fund the comprehensive renovation of the Mounted Patrol Unit’s facilities.
