The story of Jeffrey Hurwitt
Jeffrey said that the person who first motivated him to pursue his line of work was none other than legendary boxer Muhammad Ali. He was fascinated by the 3 time Heavyweight Champion of the World and would watch his boxing matches on TV when he was as young as 5-years-old. The boxer would often say that if you’re good at something, you should use your talent to help as many people as possible. Jeffrey carried that wisdom into adulthood, eventually finding his calling in social media marketing for restaurants.
He started by handling Twitter accounts for major restaurant chains in Fort Lauderdale like Tap 42, American Social, and Restaurant People. Eventually, he decided to create one big platform where he would retweet from these accounts so that everything could be in one place.
Soon, his Twitter accounts started getting a lot of traction, @Miami_Eatz is currently Top 100 in Miami & Top 750 in Florida while @FortLaudEatz is Top 100 in Fort Lauderdale according to Agilience.com.
What he plans to do next
Jeffrey has a meticulous protocol that he’s been following diligently for over ten years. From making detailed lists of accounts and scouring the web for retweeting-worthy content, his knows how to get results. It’s no surprise that his 13,200 followers on Twitter include First Madam Mayor Danielle Levine Cava, award-winning artist Dave Vescio, and Hard Rock Cafe, to name a few.
For almost a decade, Jeffrey has been offering his services for free, but now he’s reaching out for support from community members and investors. You can support Jeffrey by contributing to his GoFundMe and following Miami Eatz and Fort Lauderdale Eatz on Twitter.
