Yli Liriano: Style raised by inspiration
Growing up in New York City, Yli Liriano was surrounded by style and culture. Her grandmother was a fashion designer, and her father was known for always dressing to impress. That influence stuck with her. By age four, she was already picking out her own outfits and had mastered the perfect winged eyeliner. It was then that she realized her true calling and decided that this was the career she wanted to pursue.
She later earned a certificate in image consulting from the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) and got her professional license in hairstyling. But most of her magic comes from experience, intuition, and a genuine love for making people shine.
A signature style with a personal touch
Yli has worked with everyone from high-powered professionals to royalty-level clients—like the time she styled an heiress for a major international event. But no matter who she’s working with, she brings the same energy: thoughtful, creative, and personal.
She takes time to really listen and understand what people want and how they want to feel. Her style philosophy is simple—when you feel good in what you wear, it shows.
These days, she’s into oversized menswear pieces, denim, and fun 90s vibes like cartoon prints and bold patterns. But beyond trends, she’s into confidence. “People always ask if they’re too old to wear something,” she says. “You’re never too old to wear what makes you feel amazing.”
Yli’s Love Look
Yli runs Yli’s Love Look and owns her very own makeup brand, Yli, Love How You Look Cosmetics. The end goal with her companies is to expand her global presence. “I want ambassadors worldwide promoting self-love and empowerment,” she envisions.
Yli Liriano also the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of Dorian Liriano Life Coaching, a business run by her brother. Their planners are designed to help people stay focused and intentional—just like her styling work, it’s about helping people build the life they want.
With all the travel and projects Yli Liriano takes on, staying grounded is important. Her biggest piece of advice? Keep showing up. “You’ll hear a lot of nos,” she says. “But if you keep trusting your gift, the right doors will open.”
