A community-centered transformation

“This is a historic moment for the residents of Miami-Dade,” said Dariel Fernandez during the grand opening ceremony, which welcomed over 100 attendees. The branch now features 40 service windows and can accommodate more than 800 customers daily, offering a more accessible and streamlined experience.

Residents can now complete a variety of essential services in one place, including:

  • Driver license and state ID issuance or renewal
  • Vehicle registration renewals
  • Property and business tax payments
  • And other important government services

The office has also undergone a complete visual and structural overhaul, with modern flooring, an intuitive layout, and improved signage to help residents navigate services with ease.

Looking ahead: Expansion and innovation

Dariel Fernandez announced ambitious plans to continue improving access to public services across the county. New branches are slated to open in Florida City and Kendall, contributing to a goal of 14 fully operational locations throughout Miami-Dade County by year’s end.

“This is not about politics or my name,” Fernandez emphasized. “This is about building systems that serve the people with efficiency, integrity, and dignity.”

The launch of this revamped branch office represents more than just infrastructure—it’s a bold step toward redefining the way local government connects with its citizens.
