Saddle up for the 2025 Miami-Dade CountryFest at Tropical Park

Chairman Anthony Rodriguez brings the community together for a weekend of rodeo action, farm fun, and live country music at one of the county’s most beloved parks

Dust off your boots and get ready for an unforgettable celebration of Miami-Dade’s rural charm! Chairman Anthony Rodriguez is inviting residents and visitors alike to enjoy the annual Miami-Dade CountryFest, taking place on Saturday, April 26 and Sunday, April 27, 2025, at Tropical Park, located at 7900 SW 40th St., Miami, FL 33155. Admission to the two-day festival is free and open to the public, with gates opening each day at 9 a.m.

This year’s CountryFest is set to be bigger and better than ever, with a lively mix of traditional rodeo events, agricultural showcases, family-friendly entertainment, delicious food, and opportunities to learn about Miami-Dade’s historical ties to country living and ranch life. Whether you're a lifelong local or a first-time visitor, there’s something for everyone at this high-energy event that highlights the rich, and often underappreciated, country culture in the heart of Miami.

A celebration of country roots and agricultural pride

At its core, Miami-Dade CountryFest is a tribute to the county’s agricultural legacy. While many people associate Miami with beaches and nightlife, the region also has deep farming and ranching roots that continue to shape the local economy and community values.

Visitors can expect an up-close look at life on the farm in the event’s Farmville zone, an interactive area where attendees can explore coops, crops, and barns filled with farm animals. Children can feed goats, pet bunnies, and learn where their food comes from in a fun, engaging way. The Cattle Exhibition will also offer attendees a chance to meet and learn about top Brahman cattle — a nod to the strong ranching traditions that exist just outside the city’s hustle and bustle.

For a burst of adrenaline, don’t miss the World-Class Rodeo powered by Kelly Tractor, featuring professional riders showcasing daring feats in bull riding, barrel racing, and trick riding. Rodeo fans can experience the thrill of competition and the skill of some of the best athletes in the sport. Rodeo seating requires a separate ticket, which can be reserved in advance to ensure the best views of the action.

Family fun, music, and Miami vibes with a country twist

CountryFest isn’t just for rodeo fans — it’s a full-blown family affair. One of the most anticipated events for kids is Mutton Bustin’, where children aged 5–7 get the chance to ride sheep in a playful competition for the title of “The Golden Buckle.” Porky’s Circuit piglet races are also sure to draw smiles and laughter from young and old alike.

The fun continues at the Pioneer Play Zone, a kid-friendly area with games, crafts, and hands-on activities designed to keep the little ones entertained while parents enjoy live entertainment, shopping, and refreshments.

CountryFest’s Round Up Stage presented by Amazon will host continuous country music performances throughout the weekend, featuring a lineup of talented local bands and musicians. From boot-stomping bluegrass to heartfelt country ballads, the stage is where the event’s spirit truly comes alive. Grab your dancing boots — there may even be a line dancing session or two!

Vendor Valley presented by HueHub will feature a wide range of booths offering western wear, handcrafted goods, artisanal foods, and unique finds from local entrepreneurs and small businesses. It’s the perfect opportunity to support local vendors and discover one-of-a-kind items.

For those looking to elevate their experience, the VIP Saloon offers an exclusive retreat with air-conditioned comfort and access to an open bar. VIP passes and rodeo seating tickets can be secured online in advance.

A true community experience in the heart of Miami-Dade

Chairman Anthony Rodriguez’s commitment to creating events that bring people together is clear in every detail of CountryFest. “This isn’t just a festival—it’s a chance for our community to come together, celebrate our traditions, and have fun as families, friends, and neighbors,” said Chairman Rodriguez. “CountryFest reflects the diversity and richness of Miami-Dade in a way that honors our roots while embracing our future.”

Miami-Dade CountryFest invites everyone — whether you're a country enthusiast or just looking for a fun weekend outing — to join in the celebration. Reserve your free general admission tickets and purchase VIP or rodeo seating at www.MDCountryFest.com/tickets. Space for certain attractions may be limited, so early registration is encouraged.
