Myriam Ayala Frederick of Ayala Royal Ballet is changing lives one dancer at a time

Myriam Ayala Frederick of Ayala Royal Ballet School is spreading the communities wings through knowledge, imagination, and discipline.

We at Calle Ocho News are greatly appreciative to the Ayala Royal Ballet dancers for their sponsorship at the First Annual Community Champion Awards Cocktail Party on October 9, 2019 during Hispanic Heritage.  When we reached out to Myriam about entertaining our guests, she immediately wanted to be involved expecting nothing in return.  It is because of entrepreneurs like Myriam that our event was such a success and the reason our community thrives. Their support and steadfast leadership are critical in the advancement of our youth in the world of the arts and we are proud to have witnessed these dancers firsthand on our magical night.

Myriam Ayala Frederick is Director of Ayala Royal Ballet. She dances with The Cuban Classical Ballet and with Brigid Baker Whole Project. Myriam started Ayala Royal Ballet to spread her knowledge and 25 years of experience in the ballet industry. She impacts her student’s lives by helping them build a strong self-esteem as well as by placing them in various professional companies around the world. What Myriam loves most about her job is the ability to transfer knowledge, imagination, and discipline to all her students. She loves to see them grow and develop, not just in dance but in all aspects of their lives. Myriam is from Mexico City and she wants to spread family values and synergy to her neighbors. She has many outreach programs coming up including scholarships for underprivileged children. 

Paula Feiruz 

PaulaPaula Feiruz has been dancing professionally for over 20 Years. She has traveled performing in Europe, South America central América as well as the Caribbean islands. She studies at Middle Eastern Dance Exchange, the top cultural dance school in the united states. Feiruz mentored under Tamalyn Dallal master teacher for over 10 Years. Her biggest accomplishment is empowering women through dance with teaches moral lessons, courage, and personal pride for the individual. She strongly believes that dance connects is to our spirit where confidence grows.

 

 

Martha Isabel Córdoba

Martha Isabel CordobaMartha Isabel has just settled in the city of Miami and works with organizations such as AYALA ROYAL BALLET, as a Salsa and Dance Fitness Teacher. She is also the founder of  "MY BODY IS MY HISTORY" a Colombian non-profit organization that is currently being brought to the USA with the expectation that the alliance between both countries will cause a synergy that can promote the scenic arts as a vehicle for personal and community transformation. She has been dancing salsa for over 10 years performing and teaching Internationally.  As well as dancing, she has conducted a lot of psychological research on the power of movement to aide in mental disorders.  As a result of these experiences she has been able to promote the scenic arts as a vehicle for personal and community transformation and empowerment, benefiting children and teenagers in situations of social and psychological vulnerability. 

Melannye Zamora 

Melanya ZamoraOriginally from Mexico, she began her studies at the Makarova Ballet Cchool in her hometown of Ensenada Baja California. She auditioned to one of the best ballet institutions in world, “The Cuban National Ballet School, Fernando Alonso” where she graduated from. Upon her graduation Melannye realized her professional practices in the National Ballet of Peru. Now she is visiting Miami and had the honor to participate in the Calle Ocho News Community Champion Awards Cocktail Party for Hispanic Heritage held on October 9 in the International Finance Bank on SW 8 St. where she delighted the guests with her graceful presence and elegance.

Ayala Royal Ballet has a diverse set of students with specialized classes focus to kids and to adults that come from all over Miami. In addition to their core ballet curriculum they offer acrobatics, flamenco, contemporary, hip-hop and salsa lessons. Ayala Royal Ballet is licensed by The Royal Academy of Dance to teach the Silver Swans Program.
