Marlins hosted opening day and featured the frontline healthcare heroes
On Thursday, April 1st, 2021, the Miami Marlins had their Opening Day against the Tampa Bay Rays. The Rays took the victory with the score of one to zero. The team showed their appreciation to the frontline healthcare heroes from The University of Miami Health System by hosting them on the AutoNation Alley Deck.
The fans that attended the Opening Day received a 2021 Magnet Schedule, and a lanyard with an Opening Day commemorative ticket. Fans were given different entrance times depending on their ticket starting at 2pm, with festivities that began at 3 pm. A Pachanga Band surrounded the ballpark to get all fans excited for the big event.
The Homestand continued on Friday, April 2, and Saturday, April 3 also against the Tampa Bay Rays. The events of the homestand concluded with a three-game series against the St. Louis Cardinals that took place April 5-7.
As part of the big kickoff they conducted a pullover sweater fan giveaway on April 3. Additionally, the Marlins announced that there will be initial single- game ticket offers for the home games until June.
One of these offers is the Ticket +, which gives fans a special pricing for the game ticket, as well as credit for food and beverage that can be redeemed at any concession stand in the ballpark. Another great offer comes with the Salute and Serve Days and Senior Days.
