Providing academic support, enrichment, and special needs services across Miami-Dade

Hope for Miami’s Kidz2Success program is making a difference in the lives of children and teens across Miami-Dade County by offering affordable afterschool and summer camp programs. With nine locations serving students in grades K-12, this initiative provides a safe, enriching environment that fosters academic success, social-emotional wellness, and career exploration.

A comprehensive program for every age group

K - 5th Grade:

  • Homework help, academic support, reading intervention, and social-emotional wellness.
  • Group literacy instruction and Differentiated Literacy instruction to help students reach grade level.
  • Enrichment activities in arts, sports, and STEM, along with theme-based field trips in summer.
  • Hours: Afterschool (2:00-6:00 PM, Aug-June) | Summer Camp (8:00 AM-6:00 PM, June-July).

6th - 8th Grade:

  • Fun, engaging academic support and social-emotional wellness programming.
  • Career and vocational exploration with community service-based projects.
  • Entrepreneurial skill-building and exposure to STEM and field trips during summer camp.
  • Hours: Afterschool (3:45-6:00 PM, Aug-June) | Summer Camp (8:00 AM-6:00 PM, June-July).

Special Needs Services for 9th - 12th Grade:

  • Hands-on life skills training, financial literacy, and career readiness.
  • Support for modified diplomas, social-emotional wellness, and mentorship programs.
  • Additional summer activities in STEM, arts, music, and dance.
  • Hours: Afterschool (2:30-6:00 PM, Aug-June) | Summer Camp (8:30 AM-4:30 PM, June-July).
