The city is gearing up for Miami Grand Prix 2023 event on May 7
The Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix 2023 is scheduled for Sunday, 7th May 2023. The event will take place at the Miami International Autodrome in Florida on a 10-year contract.

F1 circuit layout
The Formula One track designer Apex Circuit Design has designed and delivered the circuit for Miami Grand Prix F1. Several track designs were tested earlier. Owner of the Miami International Autodrome stadium, Stephen M. Ross, has put efforts into bringing Formula 1 to Miami for several years.
The layout circuit is designed to ensure that it won’t disrupt the lives of local residents. The track has a permanent style design but with temporary infrastructure, including fences and barriers. These are easily removed during off-race seasons.
How Miami Grand Prix came about
Stephen M. Ross and many others proposed the Miami Grand Prix in 2018 as a round of the Formula 1 World Championship. In 2019, the first date and location of the race were also submitted to the City of Miami but nada!
The complications owing to development and construction plans intervened. As a result, another proposal was made to use Hard Rock Stadium as the location for the F1 race in 2021. Though the race couldn’t happen in 2021, it debuted in 2022 as part of the F1 World Championship taking place in Miami International Autodrome.
This year the race offers more exciting events for participants and attendees. Three practice races will commence on May 5 through May 6, with May 7 marking as a qualifying round. The final race will take place on May 8.
