A fresh take on Mexican street food with award-winning tacos and exciting additions
Lime Fresh Mexican Grill is kicking off 2025 with a bold new menu that enhances its reputation for fresh, flavor-packed Mexican cuisine. Under the slogan “The Zest Is Yet to Come,” this Florida-based fast-casual favorite is blending vibrant Mexican street food flavors with unique Miami influences. The latest additions promise a mix of classic flavors, inventive new dishes, and a dining experience that stays true to Lime Fresh’s commitment to made-from-scratch ingredients.
Lime Fresh’s newest lineup includes an array of appetizers, quesadillas, and tacos, each crafted with bold, exciting flavors. Among the standouts are the Mahi Mahi Tacos, which earned top honors at the 2024 South Beach Seafood Festival’s “Battle Taco” competition and received the seal of approval from Chef Robert Irvine. These tacos feature line-caught mahi mahi, crisp cabbage mix, tomatillo ranch, and pickled red cabbage, served on a choice of flour, hard corn, wheat, or soft corn tortillas.
Other highlights include:
- Chicken Empanadas with grilled chicken, sweet peppers, scallions, and avocado ranch.
- Portobello Empanadas stuffed with grilled portobello, onions, poblanos, and chipotle ranch.
- Elote Street Corn, loaded with cotija cheese, tomatillo ranch or lime crema, crumbled tortilla chips, and pico de gallo.
- Loaded Nachos with LIME-seasoned tortilla chips, black beans, queso, lime crema, pickled jalapeños, and guacamole.
Expanding the quesadilla lineup, guests can now choose from the Vegetarian Quesadilla, featuring grilled portobello and sautéed poblanos, or the Carne Asada Quesadilla, packed with grilled skirt steak, smoky kimchi aioli, and black beans. These join the fan-favorite BBQ Shrimp Quesadilla, giving customers even more options to turn up the heat at Lime Fresh.

Lime Fresh is not only revamping its food options but also refreshing its dining experience. Guests will notice an updated interior design, featuring a vibrant color palette, bold murals, and neon slogans that create a playful and inviting atmosphere. The new seating arrangements and design elements aim to bring the energy of Miami indoors, mirroring the bold flavors of the menu.
“This is an exciting milestone for Lime Fresh Mexican Grill,” said Patrick Fore, Chief Executive Officer of Lime Fresh. “After laying the groundwork throughout 2023 and 2024, we’re kicking off the year with the most significant menu updates in our history. With an expanded lineup of bold, fresh flavors and a reinvigorated guest experience, we’re building on our momentum while staying true to what makes Lime Fresh special—made-from-scratch ingredients, vibrant energy, and a commitment to delivering crave-worthy, Mexican-inspired items with our hometown Miami Vibe.”

The brand’s recent expansion into Amerant Bank Arena, home of the 2024 Stanley Cup champion Florida Panthers, also reflects its growing popularity among sports fans and food lovers alike.
