February: A month of love and fashion!
February has arrived! This month is usually known for love thanks to Valentine’s Day and for the amazing world of fashion, with Fashion Week taking over the fashion capitals of New York, Paris, Milan, and London.
But hold on, we don’t need a specific month to express our love and appreciation to those special to us—be it a family member, significant other, or friend. Instead of waiting for special occasions like Valentine’s Day or Mother’s Day to express our feelings, we should make it a habit. Every day should be a “thank you day” and an “I love you” day. And if you find yourself without someone to share that love with, don’t worry. Look in the mirror and declare, “Happy Valentine’s Day”; “I love you”, my forever valentine!”
Life is unpredictable; it can change in the blink of an eye. Yes, it may sound cliché that life is short, but it's the truth! Words can be left unsaid to our friends or family; today is the perfect day to pick up the phone—yes, actually call! Texting just doesn’t carry the same weight as hearing their voice, sharing your gratitude, love, or apologies, and expressing what you have held onto for “that special day.” Today is YOUR day!

Fashion is all about YOU expressing yourself and choosing the styles that best reflect your unique personality. Every day when getting dressed, you choose the clothes that resonate with how you are feeling that day. Fashion is a form of freedom of expression; style is about knowing who you are and communicating that to the world. As fashion designer Rachel Zoe said, “Style is a way to say who you are without having to speak.”
During the fashion shows, creativity shines brighter than ever, transforming the world into an incredible runway. Remember Chanel’s iconic line: “Every day is a fashion show, and the world is your runway.” Your style tells YOUR story! So, the next time you choose an outfit, think about the powerful message you want to share with the world.
