Did someone say Drive-In Movie in Miami?

Do you want to take your children to a safe place without worrying about keeping them under control? Do you want to do something different with your family this summer that protects your pocket and at the same time enhances fun? Keep reading! Watching a movie in the comfort of your home is predictable but seeing it from your car is a unique experience. The idea of watching a drive-in movie is nothing new it is just not very common these days. In the United States, the maximum popularity of drive-in movies was from the late 1950s to the mid-1960s. Still, in-force drive-in movies offer accessible family entertainment.

Drive-in Fridays arrive at Little Havana

Miami-Dade County is offering a great alternative for fun this summer. They are inviting the community to a drive-in movie Friday in the parking lot of the Miami-Dade County Auditorium located at 2901 W Flagler St, Miami, FL 33135.

"Get ready for a full retro movie experience," said Commissioner Higgins. "Drive-ins offer a unique option for social and family entertainment, and we are delighted to bring it to the Little Havana neighborhood of District 5 along with the Miami-Dade County Auditorium."

When the sun goes down, the fun begins

For drive-in Movie Friday, you can arrive a little before the show starts by getting there at 7 P.M. to prepare to enjoy the movie that starts at 8 P.M. If you arrive before time, there will be food trucks selling food and drinks for your convenience while you wait.

You can also pack yourself up some of your very own favorites. It's important to remember that the films will be projected on a 50-foot outdoor screen, and the audio will be transmitted by FM radio. You must be aware when you arrive as they will provide you with the FM station upon arrival.
