Carnaval Miami 2023: a celebration of everything Miami

Carnaval Miami is a long-standing marquis festival and a year-after-year tradition in Miami. According to the president of the Kiwanis Club of Little Havana, the festival celebrates the warm and vibrant culture of Miami’s Hispanic Community.

The festival officially started on 11th February with the Miss Carnaval pageant, which crowned Daylin Rodriquez as the winner of scholarships, cash prizes and an opportunity to represent Carnaval Miami 2023 and direct entry to this year’s Miss Florida pageant.

Carnaval Miami continues to support local artists, small businesses and vendors with $40 million in funds. It hosts a series of fun-filled and exciting events that appeal to over 1.5 million attendees every year.

The annual festival is best known for Calle Ocho Music Festival – Miami’s largest Latino experiential event. This year the club also announced a brand-new event, Art on the Drive to celebrate country music, jazz and funk, featuring exquisite cuisine and weekend-long entertainment for children.
