Events in Miami this March

Arts, Culture, Film, and Music Come Together at Events in Miami this March

With some popular annual celebrations being canceled, and others still happening, we must find the silver lining and enjoy the sporting and cultural events in Miami.

While the pandemic isn’t fully over, and we've had to hold off on some of our most beloved festivals and events, including the world-famous Calle Ocho Festival and the Carnaval on the Mile Jazz and Art Festival, which are typically held in March every year, there are other events in Miami to look forward to.

Among the many exciting festivals, parties (both live and virtual), and events in Miami this March are a few of the following that we can safely look forward to as we move toward normalcy.

Here’s what to expect this month:

The Miami Film Festival

The Miami Film Festival is making a comeback this year, running from March 5-14th, 2021. This means it's up for over two weeks and gives you a lot of time to explore things that interest you, appeal to your taste, and draw you in.

As one of the top events in Miami, you can find the schedule and content online. This includes ticketing and other details about the festival, so you can schedule your trip over. It's definitely worth the visit because it features various renowned and indie filmmakers, incredibly long and short films, and so much more that you don’t want to miss!

Women’s Month at the Soundscape Cinema

Speaking of films, the Cinema Series at SoundScape Park is paying homage to the greatest women in film with open-air screenings, picnics, and much more happening throughout the month. Rated as one of the top seasonal things to do in Miami, you can pack a picnic basket, take a blanket, and make your way out to enjoy cinematic masterpieces that women have helped create.

The management has taken to carefully focuse on social distancing while people watch their films and uphold necessary COVID precautions for safety

The Miami Open

The Miami Open is happening at the Hard Rock Stadium this March, and while it’s not exactly an arts event, it’s something many of us are looking forward to and can’t wait to attend. Watch your favorite players going off on the court as they compete for the cup. It's thrilling, exciting, and a great opportunity for hardcore fans who may have a chance at attending.

As exciting as it is, however, many of these events are prone to cancellation. Just as we've seen happen with multiple festivals, carnivals, events, and occasions in recent months. Please stay tuned to official sites and platforms for updates.
