A death investigation has started after an auto-parts store because a man died in police custody
There’s currently a death investigation after a forty-two-year-old man died in police custody in southwest Miami-Dade County.

A man died in police custody, and an investigation underway
According to Miami-Dade police, a man was arrested at the Auto Zone Store on Sunday, around 6 p.m. at 9439 SW 56th St. in Kendall.
The police officers had gotten reports of a customer being violent and throwing items around in the store. After the police arrived, they arrested the man. Two to three minutes later, the accused became unresponsive and stopped breathing.
The sources say that the officers tried to revive him, and when his condition remained unchanged, the Miami-Dade Fire Rescue transported him to Baptist Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Police officers say there was no physical contact
Miami-Dade police officers have said there was no physical contact with the man other than him being placed in handcuffs. There is also no evidence of any force being used but that the man stopped breathing and was pronounced dead when he was taken to the nearest hospital.
More information on the incident is yet to surface and police investigators are trying to learn what caused the 42-year-old man to behave this way and what led to his demise.
It must be noted that this is not the first incident where a man has died in police custody.
