Once again, the County is helping residents file their taxes on time before April 18. Professional, certified tax preparers are offering their services across the county to a select group of individuals.

IRS offers free services to file your taxes
CAHSD members who have passed the IRS's tax preparation exam are offering free, rudimentary tax services to Miami residents. Individuals who can benefit from this service include people with yearly incomes of $60,000 or less, persons with disabilities, the elderly, and people with limited English proficiency.
If you live in the CAHSD area and need assistance, call a Community Resource Center near you to see if you qualify and make an appointment. The filing of tax returns will be done exclusively online.
The need for mental health awareness in Miami
If you need your taxes prepared and filed electronically, contact the Miami Tax Pros. The tax professionals at Miami Tax Pros are all IRS-approved and offer their services via the VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) Program.
For those who qualify, Miami Tax Pros offers no-cost tax preparation through a collaboration of more than 30 local organizations, including the United Way in Miami-Dade County. They offer their services both digitally and in person. Due to the county's diverse population, the tax preparers offer their services in four languages: English, Chinese, Spanish, and Creole.
