This year the Chocolate Garden will be held in a home to incredible flora and fauna, wonderful art collections, and a venue for some of the city’s most popular events, The Fairchild Tropical Botanic Gardens are one of Miami’s most prized locations.

They’re wowing us again by bringing back the annual Festival of Chocolate on the 15th and 16th of January 2022, which is this weekend! If you haven’t already made plans or gotten your tickets (which you can purchase here), here are some reasons why you definitely need to check out this event in Miami:

1. There’s something for everyone

Whether you’re looking for an excuse to head out and enjoy the fantastic weather, or you want to indulge in some luxury chocolate, they’ve got something for everyone to try. From entertainment to food, to plant sales, educational aspects, and just a chance to walk around the stunning gardens, you’ll find something that interests you for sure!

2. You get to pair chocolate and wine!

If the general appeal wasn’t enough for you, know that they will have wine and chocolate pairings at the event too! The festival hopes to enhance the experience of chocolate consumption in every way possible, which is why they’re offering a selection of wonderful wine and spirits that will bring out the flavors, textures, aromas, and all the complexities of the chocolate they’re paired with. You definitely don’t want to miss out on that, right?

3. The kids will have a ton of fun

As if a chocolate festival itself isn’t enough to get kids excited, the event has a ton of fun activities, especially for children. With an educational experience that teaches them how chocolate is made, storytime, balloon animals, and more, there’s a lot of fun lined up for your kids. Plus, kids under 5 are free, so you don’t need to worry about spending money on toddlers and young children to get in.

4. You can watch experts in their zone

Learning about chocolate and the many processes that go into the creations we see isn’t just for kids. Adults also have a chance to explore and learn more about cooking and working with chocolate. There are chef demonstrations, chocolate-inspired classes, mixology and pairings, and a lot more. You also have the unique opportunity to purchase chocolate orchids and cacao plants for your home.

Who can say no to chocolate? Especially when there’s so much to enjoy with and through chocolate! It’s not too2 late to get your hands on passes for the event and make the most of the weekend.
