The Carnaval Miami 2023 celebrates beauty and all things Miami by showcasing music, sports, art, fashion, and food via a series of intriguing events. The purpose is simple: attract as many people as possible. The carnival has, on average, one million attendees every year.
Powered by the Kiwanis Club of Little Havana, the Carnaval aims to support youth development programs started by the Kiwanis of Little Havana Foundation. The beauty pageant is also in-line with the same philosophy and so is the new miss Carnaval Miami 2023.
According to Alex Perez, president of the club, she is the embodiment of dedication, beauty, happiness, and intelligence needed to promote the philosophy of the club. She also believes that the title offers a new opportunity for young ladies who can become influential figures for their community.
She’s all set to become an integral part of the Kiwanis Club of Little Havana as well as the South Florida Hispanic community.
A beacon of hope for South Floridian families
While thanking the club for this immense opportunity to make a difference, Daylin also reiterated the role of the Kiwanis Club of Little Havana. She believes the club is a beacon of hope for young Hispanic women and families in South Florida.
Kiwanis of Little Havana stands true to its mission to assist and empower young Hispanic women. Each year they offer opportunities to children to grow, dream big, and succeed through sports, health, education, technology, and other projects.
