The Greater Miami Convention &Visitors Bureau (GMCVB) brought back the ultimate food event of Miami, Miami Spice Restaurant Months. The program is sponsored by Whole Foods Market and Woodford Reserve and is going on now until September 30. This is an opportunity for both locals and visitors to indulge in the most delicious and diverse foods that Miami has to offer!
The program is on its 20th year and with over 190 participating restaurants, we guarantee that there is something for everyone! From sushi, to Italian, to comfort food, Miami has it all. During the event, restaurants will be offering three-course prix-price menus for $28 for breakfast and lunch, and $42 for dinner.
“Twenty years ago, the GMCVB launched Miami Spice to help spur tourism during the summer months and over the years, it has blossomed- alongside Greater Miami and Miami Beach- into a staple for the community,” said William D. Talbert III, President and CEO of the GMCVB.
Some restaurants have been part of the program since its very beginning, and it is exciting that they will be a part of it again this year. They include, Byblos Miami, Hakkasan Miami Beach, II Mulino Sunny Isles Beach, Strada in the Grove, and Fontana at the Baltimore in Coral Gables. Others are starting their participation this year including, Wayku, CHICA, La Giuletta, Café Americano South beach, Osteria Morini, and many more.
To complete your experience, be sure to also take advantage of another program being run right now, Miami Hotel Months. This program is offering discounts and perks at hotels all over Miami. What better than enjoying delicious foods and going back to digest your meal at a gorgeous hotel?
Miami Spice Months is one of seven different branches of the GMCVB’s Miami Temptations Program. These months are designed to bring appreciation and access to Miami’s many assets through programming and discounts for all to enjoy. Knowing that good food is something that is enjoyed year-round, the GMCVB has a dedicated section of their website where you can explore restaurants, breweries, and cafes by neighborhood.
Nothing better than a great meal! The GMCVB now makes it easier and more accessible, so do not miss out on the opportunity!
