The GMCVB has launched Miami Health and Wellness Months to treat your mind, body, and soul
After an eventful year in 2020, Miami locals and visitors deserve a chance for self-care. The Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau (GMCVB) agrees with this sentiment. That’s why they have launched Miami Health and Wellness Months from Feb. 1 to March 31.
The two-month program features a series of wellness programs, events, and special offers. These promotions are designed to give you the opportunity to treat yourself. The focus is on mind, body, and soul. Some promotions include fitness classes, spa treatments, and holistic experiences. All age groups will be able to enjoy this program.
Some of Miami’s best fitness centers and spas have partnered with the GMCVB for the program. With over 50 partners, there is a lot for locals and vacationers to choose from.
For example, The Ritz-Carlton in Key Biscayne is bringing health and wellness to your mind. They are inviting you to spend a day at their beachfront property. You will also receive discounts on treatments at the full-service spa. This includes massages, facials, and pedicures.
Local eatery Tanuki Miami is providing your body with a healthy food experience. The restaurant will offer a Bento Box full of Chinese and Japanese foods. The ambiance is relaxed and sophisticated, so you can calm your mind while fueling your body.
Vacationers and stay-cationers can feed their souls with a “Stay and Spa” package. This package is from DoubleTree by Hilton Ocean Point Resort and Spa. It offers beachfront condominium accommodations and spa credit to the on-property spa.
There will be many other health and wellness promotions available throughout the program. For example, there will be free rooftop fitness classes at Redbury South Beach. A family cycle excursion will be available at Virginia Key Beach Park.
The GMCVB will also conduct a sweepstakes in partnership with Spafinder. Each week throughout the program, one winner will receive a $100 Spafinder gift card. To enter, anyone can visit the GMCVB on Instagram @miamiandbeaches and click the link in their bio.
The GMCVB’s goal is to guide Miami locals and visitors on a health and wellness journey. This program is perfect for those trying to stay on top of their New Year’s resolutions. President and CEO of the GMCVB, William D. Talbert II, believes in the importance of self-care.
“Through the range of experiences and offers, it is our hope that those who reside in and visit this vibrant destination get to indulge in some well-earned pampering,” said Talbert.
Talbert adds that Miami businesses offer opportunities for self-care year-round. After Miami Health and Wellness Months conclude, he hopes people continue to care for themselves.
