350 tons of snow, slides, and holiday fun await Aventura Mall
Get ready to experience a winter wonderland in the heart of South Florida as Snow Carnival, a snow-filled extravaganza, descends upon Aventura Mall. Following a successful debut in Las Vegas last year, International Special Attractions (ISA) brings the festive experience to the Sunshine State, promising a snow-filled spectacle from November 23 to January 7, 2024.
Snow Carnival: A magical South Florida holiday experience
For the first time ever, Aventura Mall's parking lot will be transformed into a snowy paradise, thanks to the 350 tons of snow required to kickstart the Snow Carnival experience. Produced by ISA, the event garnered praise in Las Vegas, and the organizers are eager to bring joy to families in South Florida. Haiping Ge, CEO and president of ISA, highlights the immersive nature of the experience, where 50 tons of snow are added daily to maintain the snowy atmosphere.
The temperature inside the tent will be 60-70 degrees. Hence, visitors are advised to wear appropriate clothes. Children should be fully clothed or bring back-up clothes.
Snowy attractions for all ages
Snow Carnival is not just about snow; it's a comprehensive holiday experience for all ages. Inside a tent, attendees can indulge in an hour of snowy bliss with tickets priced at $39.99 for adults and $34.99 for kids aged 4-12. From a snow-flurry entrance to a mini Matterhorn snow-tubing slide, smaller slides for kids, and an indoor meadow perfect for making snow angels, the event promises a plethora of winter activities. The festivities also include designated areas for an inner tube merry-go-round, a snowman building, snowball fights, and a magical Holiday Express train ride through the snowy forest.
Haiping Ge emphasizes that the Snow Carnival production involves nearly 50 individuals and a 35-ton snow machine, making Miami the exclusive market for this snow-filled experience. As a culinary delight, family-friendly treats will be available, along with the Yeti Snow Bar—an adults-only bar housed inside an igloo.
