One of the evening’s highlights was the presentation of the Global Excellence in Journalism Award to 10-time Emmy Award-winning journalist Ambrosio Hernández, recognized for his decades of impactful reporting and dedication to informing the public. His work has played a meaningful role in strengthening community awareness and ensuring that important stories affecting South Florida residents remain visible and accessible.
The chamber also presented the Excellence in Entertainment Award to internationally recognized Cuban musician Carlos Oliva, whose contributions to music and cultural expression have resonated with audiences throughout South Florida and beyond. His recognition reflected the chamber’s commitment to celebrating not only business leadership but also the cultural voices that enrich the region’s diverse community.
The evening featured live performances by Lucy Grau and the Miami Elite Band, creating an atmosphere that blended celebration with reflection on the chamber’s decades of impact. Television personality Javier Romero served as Master of Ceremonies, guiding the program and highlighting the achievements of leaders who continue to influence the region’s business and cultural landscape.
