In this second part of "The Boss Baby" we will see the Templeton brothers as adults, but estranged, interpreted by the voices of Alec Baldwin (Boss Baby / Ted Templeton) and James Marsden (Tim Templeton).
Ted is a mutual fund manager and Tim is married to Carol, played by Eva Longoria, who supports her family financially. They live in the suburbs with their very intelligent 7-year-old daughter, Tabitha (Ariana Greenblatt), and the baby Tina (Amy Sedaris).
Tabitha is one of the top students at the prestigious Acorn Center for Advanced Childhood and wants to be like her Uncle Ted, but Tim, whose imagination is still as active as when he was a child, worries that his daughter will not have a normal childhood.
The action begins when baby Tina reveals that she is a secret Baby Corp agent and that her mission is to uncover the school's secrets from her older sister and its founder, Dr. Edwin Armstrong (Jeff Goldblum). There the Templeton brothers will put their differences aside and discover what it means to be family.
Also, in this second part of "The Boss Baby" Lisa Kudrow and Jimmy Kimmel put their voices back as Ted and Tim's parents.
“The Boss Baby: Family Business” is directed by Tom McGrath, the same director of the first animated film “The Boss Baby” (2017), based on the 2010 book of the same name, written and illustrated by Marla Frazee.
"We are very fortunate to work with such a talented group of actors, who possess tremendous imaginations"
Tom McGrath
“The daily joy for me is not just watching our actors say a funny or heartfelt line through subtle adjustments, but the process of improvisation and character creation that they all share. They are the heart and soul of the characters they bring to life," added the director.
"The Boss Baby" shows the point of view of the imaginative and rebellious boy Tim, 7, who discovers his baby brother arriving at his house dressed in a suit and carrying a briefcase, and that he is actually a secret agent involved in a secret war between babies and puppies.
Such was the success of this animated comedy (it raised more than 500 million dollars worldwide) that the production company made the Netflix series "The Boss Baby: Back in Business" which premiered in 2018 and has now been four seasons.
You already know, “The Boss Baby: Family Business” is guaranteed fun for the whole family this summer! It will come out on July 2, 2021 in the United States.
