A powerful community celebration of resilience, faith, and new beginnings
Miami is a city that shines not only for its culture, diversity, and energy but also for its heart. On Saturday, October 18th, 2025, at 1:00 PM, the community will gather at The Caring Place (2025 NW 1st Ave, Miami, FL 33127) to celebrate a milestone of hope and transformation. Fifty men and women, once experiencing homelessness, will proudly walk the stage in caps and gowns as they graduate from The Caring Place at Miami Rescue Mission and Broward Outreach Centers’ life-changing recovery program.
This is more than a ceremony—it’s a living testament to the strength of the human spirit, the power of community support, and Miami’s commitment to compassion.

A legacy of compassion since 1922
For over a century, The Caring Place has been a cornerstone in South Florida’s fight against homelessness, serving men, women, and children with nutritious meals, safe shelter, life-changing residential recovery programs, employment training, and housing solutions.
Rooted in the Great Commission of our Lord Jesus Christ, their mission has always been clear: serve others with compassion, dignity, and hope. The graduates of this year’s program represent the living fruits of that mission—individuals who have overcome incredible challenges to become self-sufficient, hopeful, and ready to thrive as productive members of our community.
These are stories of transformation. Each cap and gown is a symbol of resilience and faith—a reminder that homelessness is not the end of a story but the beginning of a new chapter.
A community celebration of hope
The Caring Place 2025 Graduation Ceremony is not just for the graduates—it’s for all of Miami. Attendees will witness the incredible journeys of men and women who refused to give up. The celebration will also feature a live band, a delicious lunch, and refreshments, making it both inspiring and joyful.
Community members are warmly invited to attend, celebrate, and even sponsor caps and gowns for the graduates. Supporters have the unique opportunity to directly impact lives by contributing to this special day.
By attending, you’ll not only hear powerful stories of change but also see firsthand the miracles made possible through the generosity of Miami’s people and partners.
Miami is stronger when we stand together. This graduation is proof that compassion and commitment can transform lives and restore hope.
We invite you to RSVP by October 13th and join us for this unforgettable celebration of transformation on October 18th at 1:00 PM at The Caring Place.
