The Miami Hurricanes are all set for their upcoming game despite the previous loss last Saturday

Miami Hurricanes drop in ACC power rankings
After the Texas A&M loss, things didn’t pan out well for the Hurricanes since they experienced a drop in their rankings. Even though they put up a tough fight with a brilliant defense, Miami Hurricanes' rankings fell 12 spots in the AP Top 25 and USA Today AFCA Coaches Poll.
In the first downs, the Hurricanes were at a 27 to 16 advantage, outgaining Texas A&M 392 to 264. Witnessing the game, many have claimed the Miami football team needs to take their offensive game up a notch.
The Hurricanes had quite some issues after playing their greatest opponent of the season but probably wouldn’t have dropped this low had they scored one touchdown against Texas A&M. That was a slower start than the previous week against Southern Mississippi. Their next game is on Saturday against Middle Tennessee State.
What does Saturday’s game hold for the Hurricanes?
With the Hurricanes' recent loss in rankings, the pressure to perform exceptionally well in the next one is intense. This Saturday, the Hurricanes will be up against Middle Tennessee State.
Miami's football giants have over 50% chance of winning the remaining games this season. If Miami Hurricanes does meet and exceed these expectations, the future and ACC Power Rankings will surely look good for them.
