GuideWell Mutual Holding Corporation (GuideWell), the parent organization of Florida Blue, announced the appointment of Julia M. Brown as a new member of its Board of Directors. This appointment strengthens the organization's vision in its mission to provide innovative and sustainable health solutions for the community.
A distinguished career in the global industry
With more than 30 years of experience in acquisitions, operations, and business transformation, Julia M. Brown brings invaluable executive expertise. Her track record includes key roles as chief procurement officer at leading multinational brands such as Mars Incorporated, Clorox, Kraft, and Carnival Corporation & plc. Additionally, Brown held leadership roles at Procter & Gamble, Diageo, and Gillette, solidifying her reputation as an expert in supply chain optimization, risk management, and operational excellence.
Currently, Brown serves on several boards of directors, including Molson Coors Beverage Company, Ocado Group plc, Perrigo Company, and the Venetian Resort. She also serves as a trustee of the Pérez Art Museum Miami, underscoring her commitment to the South Florida community.
