Fiesta and culture come together this Hispanic Heritage Month in Little Havana

Join us for a vibrant celebration of Hispanic heritage in the heart of Miami's Little Havana. Let's dance, connect, and honor our roots together!

The streets are set to come alive on Friday, October 13, from 6 to 10 p.m. EDT. Prepare to celebrate the Hispanic heritage that has helped make this area of the Magic City what it is today. People may mingle, dance, and enjoy each other's company in a risk-free environment sponsored by our top sponsor Humana followed by the GMCVB, Miami-Dade County Commissioner Eileen Higgins and City of Miami Commissioner Manolo Reyes. Other participating sponsors are Yambo Restaurant Miami, Don Gollo Bakery, Ojalá Wine, Presidente Brandy, and Ron Barceló.

This gathering is intended to honor local creators and entrepreneurs whose efforts have resulted in significant achievements for the community. Calle Ocho is the lifeblood of Little Havana, and this festival is a chance to take part in "History in the making" on this historic street. After all, the folks who made Calle Ocho the Miami symbol of Hispanic culture deserve credit for its success.

Connecting through Hispanic Heritage

It's no coincidence that this event falls during Hispanic Heritage Month. Now, more than ever, it is crucial to celebrate the vibrant history of Miami's Hispanic community and the perseverance of our forebears.

Our community is made up of long-standing members as well as newcomers, but there is one thing we can all agree on: our interconnectedness. Let's get together to honor this lovely bond and our common Hispanic roots.

Supporting local culture

This year, we have chosen to contribute some of the event's proceeds to the Hispanic Cultural Arts Center. This fantastic organization plays a vital role in preserving and promoting Hispanic culture in Miami. Your participation in this event directly supports this important cause.
