A season of lights, culture, and family fun arrives on Flagler Street for three Sundays of culture, community, and unforgettable family fun at the Holiday Village
Miami’s holiday spirit is officially in full swing, and this year Downtown Miami is turning December into a month-long celebration the whole family can enjoy. From dancing under the lights to Hanukkah festivities and Santa’s big arrival, Flagler Street is transforming into a festive hub filled with music, culture, and community joy. And thanks to the Miami Downtown Development Authority (DDA), this season also includes a meaningful opportunity to give back through the annual Holiday Village Toy Drive.

Dancing through the holidays – Sunday, December 7
Downtown kicks off the month with free dance classes, live entertainment, and a full lineup of children’s activities. From bounce houses and face painting to balloon artists, popcorn, cookies, train rides, and even a magician, families can enjoy hours of festive fun. Santa will be on-site for photos, and the Holiday Village by Magic City Flea brings local shopping to the heart of Flagler Street—perfect for supporting Miami’s small businesses during the busiest shopping season of the year.
Hanukkah celebration & Santa’s arrival – Sundays, December 14 & 21
On December 14, the community comes together for a Hanukkah celebration featuring a menorah lighting at 4:30 p.m., themed activities, and free attractions for kids including a petting zoo and bounce house. Santa returns for photos, and Magic City Flea continues its holiday marketplace, making it easy to find handcrafted gifts from local vendors.
The Holiday Village grand finale arrives on December 21, when Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus, and the elves bring even more holiday cheer. Kids can enjoy a magician, petting zoo, cookies, candy canes, and more—all leading up to the Holiday Village Toy Drive Giveaway from 3–5 p.m., where donated toys will be distributed to children in need. Toy donations are being accepted now at the Miami DDA Flagler Street Office at 166 E. Flagler Street, helping ensure no child in our community goes without a gift this season.
This month-long celebration reflects what Miami does best—bringing people together through culture, joy, and community-driven giving.
