Miami’s most anticipated Hispanic festival is returning for another year of vibrant celebrations
Carnaval Miami 2025 powered by Hard Rock Hollywood, hosted by the Kiwanis Club of Little Havana, and sponsored by Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau will once again showcase the city’s rich Latin culture through a series of events featuring music, art, sports, and cuisine. The festival, which has become a staple of Miami’s cultural calendar, will take place throughout February and March, culminating in the world-renowned Calle Ocho Music Festival on March 9.
With a diverse lineup of entertainment, community-driven initiatives, and immersive cultural experiences, this year’s edition is expected to attract thousands of attendees while continuing to support the Kiwanis of Little Havana Foundation’s mission of serving underserved youth.
Carnaval Miami traces its roots back to the 1970s, when a group of young Miamians from the Kiwanis Club of Little Havana set out to create a festival that would showcase Hispanic culture while supporting the local community. What began as the Calle Ocho Music Festival soon grew into the largest Hispanic festival in the country. Over time, with the support of longtime partner The Miami Herald, the event expanded into Carnaval Miami, a month-long celebration of music, art, fashion, sports, and culinary traditions.

A variety of events will lead up to the main celebration—the Calle Ocho Music Festival—offering festival goers numerous opportunities to experience the best of Miami’s Latin culture.
