An evening of world-class culture and artistic revelry

The gala evening begins at 7:30 PM with a glamorous red carpet entrance at 111 SW 5th Avenue, welcoming guests with photo ops, small bites, champagne, and live piano music by Isaac Rodriguez. This year’s official festival poster will be unveiled, a striking piece by renowned Cuban surrealist Omar Corrales Mora, setting the tone for the festivities ahead. His art exhibit, Surreal Transit, will also open the same night and remain on display through August 17, blending visual storytelling with the grace of ballet.

In a moment of deep respect and tradition, the “A Life for Dance” Lifetime Achievement Award will be symbolically presented with a sculpture designed by Mexican artist David Camorlinga Tagle, honoring trailblazers in the international dance community.

Three weeks of global ballet excellence begin at the International Ballet Festival

Since 1993, the Miami Hispanic Ballet Company has championed diversity in dance, growing into a cultural institution with its crown jewel—the International Ballet Festival of Miami. Featuring more than 100 principal dancers from over 20 ballet companies worldwide, the festival invites residents and tourists alike to witness both classical and contemporary ballet in its highest form.

The International Ballet Festival spans venues across South Florida, including Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties, bringing Europe, Asia, Latin America, and the USA together on stage. The Miami Hispanic Cultural Arts Center, housed in the historic J.W. Warner Place, provides an inspiring backdrop as the community unites to celebrate this artistic legacy.
