Attend a vegan cooking class this August at Aguacate

Aguacate Juice Bar is hosting a vegan cooking class to help you get back in touch with your body

Aguacate Juice Bar is considered a “sanctuary of love” that allows you to live the life you’ve always dreamed of by boosting the strength of your immune system. This vegan juice bar and outdoor restaurant is hosting a one-hour vegan cooking class on August 19 at 7:30 p.m. for up to 10 guests. Each attendee requires a $15 donation.

At the cooking class, attendees will be taught how to boost their immunity through proper nutrition, conquering their fears, learning new breathing techniques, and shifting to a plant-based diet.

This is exactly what was done at the last cooking class they hosted, where attendees learned to make a vegan rice bowl with pecans, beet “meat” and vegetables. They used ingredients like pecans, onions, peppers, garlic, beets, avocado, jasmine rice, and many seasonings and spices.

Cooking a meal similar to this one, attendees of the August 19 class can expect to be participating in a holistic practice, which is what cooking is considered at Aguacate Juice Bar. To them, cooking connects you more to the food that you eat, creating a “Spiritual Nutrition Diet”. This kind of diet is special in that it aims to improve body consciousness, since you are aware of what you are putting into your body. It also helps to calm your mind.

A Spiritual Nutrition Diet primarily includes live foods, which are considered the food of ancient Yogis. These include foods like uncooked roots, leafy vegetables, nuts, fruits, and seeds. These foods have their natural enzymes intact because they haven’t been processed by irradiation, pesticides, microwave use, or any other preservatives.
