Amigos For Kids gears up for star-studded fundraiser at The Hangar

Miami’s highly anticipated Amigos Night returns on November 2nd, with celebrities, business leaders, and influencers

The much-awaited Amigos Night fundraiser is set to make a grand return on November 2, 2024, at The Hangar at Regatta Harbor in Miami. Organized by Amigos For Kids, a nonprofit devoted to preventing child abuse and neglect, the event aims to unite Miami’s social elite, celebrities, and influential leaders for an evening of entertainment and philanthropy. The 2024 edition promises to be more spectacular than ever, featuring a star-studded lineup, fine dining, and plenty of memorable experiences.

A night dedicated to a worthy cause

Amigos For Kids, founded in 1991, has long been a pillar of support for families in Miami, addressing child abuse prevention through education, advocacy, and various community programs. The annual Amigos Night is a significant fundraiser that helps the nonprofit continue offering valuable services such as after-school enrichment programs, parental education, and comprehensive family support. According to Karina Pavone, the President and CEO of Amigos For Kids, the funds raised at the event are essential for empowering families to thrive in safer, stronger communities.

The evening will kick off in style as guests step onto the “Black Carpet,” where some of Miami's biggest celebrities and social figures will showcase their support for Amigos For Kids. Prominent personalities expected to attend include Univision journalist Pamela Silva, Venezuelan actor Gabriel Coronel, and Telemundo anchor Gloria Ordaz. Their involvement underscores the event’s importance to the local community and the critical mission it supports.

Chair of the Amigos For Kids Board, Maggie Fresen, noted that the event would bring together leaders from various fields to not only celebrate but also make a meaningful impact. She emphasized that beyond the glamour, the true significance of the evening lies in its potential to bring positive change to children and families.

A culinary experience to remember

Guests will enjoy a night of delectable food and drinks, with dishes prepared by some of Miami's top chefs and restaurants. An open bar, sponsored by Bacardi, will feature handcrafted cocktails to complement the exquisite cuisine. The menu will offer a diverse selection of culinary delights that promise to satisfy every taste.

The entertainment for the night is set to be equally spectacular. The musical performances will be led by The Clique, a well-known band that has been energizing Miami’s nightlife for over 25 years. The high-energy act will ensure the dance floor remains packed, while a vibrant "Hora Loca" will add an extra layer of excitement. For guests seeking a different kind of fun, the "Domino Park" corner will offer a lively atmosphere for seasoned and first-time domino players alike.

The event’s success relies on the generous support of its sponsors. Amigos For Kids extended its heartfelt thanks to all contributors, especially the title sponsor, Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, and the presenting sponsor, Bacardi.

Additional supporters include diamond sponsors such as Academica and Prestige Clinical Research, as well as a host of platinum and gold sponsors, including Greenberg Traurig, Banesco, and Baptist Health. Their contributions are instrumental in helping the organization continue its mission of child abuse prevention and community education.

For those unable to attend but still wishing to contribute, Amigos For Kids welcomes donations and volunteer support through its website.
