On Sunday, April 14, 2019, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., individuals with disabilities and their families will enjoy an unforgettable seaside experience that includes
- boat rides
- a Fun Zone
- exhibitors
- adaptive sports
- lots of beach and outdoor activities
This is all part of the activities at Flip Flop Family Fun Fest & Expo, at Haulover Beach Park.
The free event is open to the public and is presented by the Miami-Dade Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces Department’s Disability Services Division and the City of Miami Beach Parks and Recreation Department with generous sponsorship from The Woody Foundation.
Now in its second season, the event is adapted so that those with mobility concerns can experience the park’s beachfront views and ocean breeze with ease.
