Volunteer Day at Florida's Natural Parks for National Public Lands Day
Florida is buzzing with 23 volunteer events this year, all geared toward celebrating NPLD. Parks throughout the state are calling for your support, making this a golden chance to explore, learn, and make a positive impact on our environment.
Coordinated by the National Environmental Education Foundation (NEEF), this marks the 30th annual NPLD celebration. To organize this event, NEEF partners with government agencies, state and municipal parks, nonprofits, and members of the community.
But that's not all—here's the icing on the cake: admission fees will be waived at national parks and federal public lands! Whether you wish to visit a national monument, lose yourself in a dense forest, or soak in the serenity of a seashore, September 23rd is your day.
