Greater Miami & Miami Beach is all set to host watch parties and other events as it will open its doors to visitors i for the world-famous FIFA World Cup 2026
FIFA, the governing body of soccer worldwide, declared that it had chosen Greater Miami & Miami Beach as the location for the FIFA World Cup 2026 matches.
The Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau’s President and CEO, David Whitaker, expressed his gratitude to FIFA for selecting Miami to host the FIFA World Cup 2026, saying,
“We’re honored that FIFA has chosen Miami to host the FIFA World Cup 2026. Our GMCVB teams, alongside the County and Hard Rock Stadium, as well as our hotel partners and community stakeholders, have worked tirelessly since 2017 through a very competitive process to bring the World Cup to Greater Miami & Miami Beach.”
Where will the FIFA World Cup 2026 games take place?
Up to six games will be held at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens. It is home to the Miami Dolphins, one of the favorites in the National Football League. It has also hosted high-profile athletic events, including Miami Grand Prix Formula 1 racing, the Miami Open tennis tournament, and six Super Bowls.
The arena is well-known to soccer fans worldwide. It was constructed following FIFA guidelines and has since been hosting multiple illustrious international matches. It also hosted the 2017 El Clásico event. The FC Barcelona vs. Real Madrid matchup set a record for North America's highest-earning soccer match in history.
Tom Garfinkel, the Chief Executive Officer, President, and Vice Chairman of the Hard Rock Stadium and Miami Dolphins, described the Stadium and their excitement to host the events saying,
“The Hard Rock Stadium campus is a global entertainment destination reflective of Miami's dynamic and international culture. We are excited to showcase our community on a worldwide stage and deliver an amazing experience and best-in-class event for players and fans."

The game schedule
The matches will be held in June and July of 2026. However, the schedule is yet to be finalized. But one thing is for sure, the Hard Rock Stadium will witness some thrilling, exciting matchups from at least 48 countries worldwide in 2026 fighting for the title.
