Celebrate Cuban culture at this year’s Cuba Nostalgia event happening in the Fair Expo Center for 23 years
Cuba Nostalgia is going to be present at Miami’s Fair Expo Center this May. The event is an annual fair that celebrates the best qualities of Cuban culture, bringing together cuisine, music, culture, and other features.
When and where is the event happening
Completing 23 years, the event is taking place from May 20- 22, 2022, at the Fair Expo Center located on Coral Way & 112 Avenue in Miami. It’s a massive, 160-foot space that offers various events, activities, performances, and attractions, including concerts and food stalls.
The painting for this year’s event was made by Alexander Mijares and was unveiled on Wednesday, April 27th, at Versailles Restaurant in Little Havana.
What to expect at the Cuba Nostalgia event
The event will feature 14 themed pavilions that recreate Cuban culture, and many prominent locations in the country, including El Floridita, La Bodeguita del Medio, El Castillo del Morro & El Malecón, and others, via photography, artwork, music, and more.
The event will also feature Tropicana, which is the Cuban cabaret, El Capitolio, Old Havana (La Habana Vieja), and vintage cars from the 40s and 50s.
The performances include concerts by Cuban performers, including Grammy winner Albita Rodriguez, as well as Carlos Oliva, Lena Burke, and several others.
There will be a premiere/V.I.P night on May 20th, hosting celebrity guests, media personnel, and other special individuals.
